Are you a Semi Senior Accountant that is qualified within AAT or qualified by experience? Would you like to work with an established accountancy practice based in the Wirral area?

If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Working at the client's head office in the Wirral, you will be joining a team of seven accountants, from junior to senior level and will be expected to be proficient in book-keeping and tax returns duties.

Benefits for this role include:

A competitive basic salary ranging between £17,500-£20,000 per annum (dependant on experience).

20 days holidays allowance (including bank holidays).

Free, on-site parking facilities - Although there is local public transport links, it is preferred for the right candidate to have a driving licence as visiting existing clients as part of the service is a requirement.

Working hours set around 0900-1730 although flexi time is available (37.5 hours to be worked around start times of 0830-0945 and then 1700-1815)

Auto enrolment pension scheme.

Day to day responsibilities in this role include:

Working day to day on behalf on numerous clients (ranging from sole trade, limited companies and partnerships).

Bookkeeping duties and VAT preparation for all clients which includes the assisting and advising of clients under correct regulations.

Assisting and helping educate clients on business software and ensuring they are getting the best results from their own resources.

Preparing management accountants alongside corporation tax and personal tax returns.

In order to apply for this role, you MUST have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.

Have 2 years experience in an accountancy practice (ideally public).

Be AAT qualified (level 4 standard) or ACCA part qualified.

Experienced using accountancy software such as: SAGE, Quickbooks and Xero Accounts.
