We are looking for a Senior Admin officer to work for our client the National Probation Service. This is a temporary position which is on-going - permanent opportunities may arise!
If you have a strong admin background and enjoy working with closely with others, then this may be the role for you
This role will require you to travel to different sites across the Eat Riding of Yorkshire & Humber- travel will be expensed
- Client/Role: NPS - Senior Admin Officer
- Based at Hull Probation Office
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week (08:45-17:15)
- Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
- Temporary until end of March 2024 (may be extended and may lead to a permanent opportunity)
- Salary: £12.24 per hour
Overview of role:
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a full range of administrative tasks linked to the Integrated management teams across the Yorkshire and the Humber region, updating spreadsheets, collecting performance data for use in a multi partnership environment. Use of numerous databases to update people on Probation data. Preparation of documents using word, Excel. Able to use mail systems such as outlook. Making diary bookings and arranging appointments
Skills required for the role:
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Team working Skills
- Confident user of excel as you will be frequently using this
- Confident communicator as you will be speaking with senior stakeholders
- You will be driving performance within teams across your region
- Can work under pressure
- Use your own initiative as well as working part of a team
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships
- Strong Admin skills
- Strong IT skills- using bespoke systems
- Strong customer service
Training will be provided, and it is an in depth programme. Due to this, the client likes to keep candidates for as long as possible
