Leicestershire Police Force is recruiting for a Senior Administrator/PA (Business Staff Officer) to be based out of Nottingham on a temporary assignment for 12 months. This role is predominantly working from home.
This opportunity involves supporting the ROCU National Coordinators Office and associated Portfolios advising on emerging policies, practices, legislation whilst
ensuring that specific projects are running to schedule. To ensure that
the performance of SOC is on track and to provide critical feedback on
the performance of the respective portfolios.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in an administration/executive assistant/PA role in a highly pressurised environment requiring tact, judgment and discretion in handling internal and external contacts. To have previous experience of handling confidential papers and of working in a confidential and sensitive environment demonstrating high levels of integrity and discretion is important for this role. You will also have the ability to effectively manage multiple diaries, including researching and booking of travel and accommodation. Also having the knowledge and experience of working within a political environment. Having awareness at all times of the need for sensitive disclosure of information and appropriate methods of communication is fundamental in this position. You must be able to work with individuals of all levels and manage workloads effectively. Candidates must be confident in working on their own initiative with minimal supervision. A level or equivalent is essential for this post as well as holding a full UK driving licence, and having flexibility to travel accross the Force area.
