Working Monday to Sunday shifts 8-8 (working week is 37 hours shifts within these days and hours)

Further Information:
Pay - 12.88
Location -Home based (this will change to a mix of home based and going into your local office later in the year)

Please note you will have to undergo 3 years reference checks and SC & ASC clearance in order to move forward with this role, Clearance can take several weeks to come back.


Summary
The Criminal Justice Unit (CJU) is a high-profile fast-growing business area within one of the government sectors.
The Criminal Justice Unit (CJU) services the national requirement to deliver criminal justice functions associated with Health Measures at the Border protocols.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to develop and embed a wide range people, stakeholder engagement and analytical skills within a high performing team, delivering what is required to continue to make the team a great place to work and to support critical business delivery.
This is an exciting and fast paced Unit, currently dealing with some of the highest profile activities.
CJU are responsible for the management of Fixed Penalty Notices (FPN) for Passenger Locator Forms (PLF), Pre-Departure/on arrival Testing and Managed Quarantine Service across the four Devolved Administrations. CJU are also responsible for the preparation of evidential files for prosecuting agencies; and provision of quality data.
Job description
The CJU undertakes work from the issue of FPNs to the production of evidential prosecution packages and carrier liability process, in response to non-compliance with:

i. Passenger Locator Forms
ii. Pre-departure testing
iii. On- arrival testing
iv. Managed Quarantine Service

The CJU also supports border security by providing quality statistical information storing and transferring data

Key Responsibilities of the role:
The work is challenging yet rewarding, implementing the requirement set out in the Health Measures at the Border protocols.
You will be responsible for supporting delivery of the current policy, including but not limited to:

" Preparing case files to criminal justice standards for supporting of prosecution cases as necessary.
" Ensuring data is submitted to central Home Office within set timeframes.
" Responsible for the accurate transfer of quality data gathered by Border Force frontline officers to relevant databases.
" Have responsibility for the timely and accurate transfer of data on to a CL database and for making referrals for offences to Carrier Liability (CL) Regulators for possible carrier prosecution
" Managing shared inboxes and taking appropriate action in a timely manner.
" Quality Assure all incoming FPNs and deciding whether to issue or reject
" Keeping payment records accurate and up to date
" Managing complaints from members of the public sent BF CJU in a professional and timely manner.
" Ensuring adherence to Data Protection and other data management protocols
