Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Administrator to work with the MOD on an assignment which is expected to run from June 2019 - February 2020.

The position will be based within the Education Centre where you will be supporting a team of both civilian and military staff.

The successful candidate will support, guide and assist a team of administrators and will involve a range of administration duties. You will be able to use MS Office to a good standard as you will be updating spreadsheets, data entry, typing documents, writing reports and sending emails. Other responsibilities will include I.T tasking, helping with queries regarding infrastructure and reporting issues, attending meetings while also supporting another 2 sites with any administration needs they may have.

You will need to be committed to work the duration of the assignment as this is a maternity cover position where a full handover will be given. The position will also require someone who has a background in a senior administration, who is confident to work independently and able work well under pressure.

The successful candidate will be required to come in to the Chelmsford branch to complete the MOD paperwork which will involve a criminal background check,

The hours of work will be 37 hours per week between 8.30am-5pm paying £9.51 per hour for the first 12 weeks, rising to £12.67p/h after week 12.
