Temporary 12 -24 months Support Hub Administrator

£25000 - 27000 (Grade 10)

Full Time

Based at Birmingham

We are looking to recruit a temporary (initially for 12 months) proactive, highly organised individual to support the Support Hub Co-Ordinator, in addition there may be a requirement to provide support to the wider Strategic Hub team.

You will be able to influence people by using a mixture of excellent communication skills both verbally and written and with a natural ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally. You should be confident using the telephone and communicating with people face to face and via email.

You should have excellent interpersonal skills and can articulate clearly and confidently at all levels both within and outside of the organisation.

Your role will include administering the Workplace system, preparing for meetings, collating reports, producing agendas, attending meetings and minute taking. You should be able to take accurate minutes and produce grammatically correct, clear, concise documentation in relation to these.

In addition, you will provide advice via telephone and email to queries. You will also be an individual who can consider continuous improvement in all aspects of your work.

You should have a positive approach, able to work to tight deadlines and can prioritise your own workload.

You will be computer literate, with experience in the use of a variety of software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A knowledge of Office 365 would be useful, making best use of its functionality, enabling us to work more effectively and efficiently.

Whilst the position is based within the Birmingham Headquarters, there may be a requirement for you to work at or attend meetings and training at other sites.

It would be preferable to have some knowledge or experience of:-

- Preparing for and attending meetings

- Taking Minutes

- Dealing with queries from a wide range of people, especially external contacts
