Job Description

A fabulous opportunity has become available to join a rapidly growing company so who knows where this maternity cover could lead you ! This position is integral to the business as essentially you will be the first point of contact in terms of all the fleet vehicles (over 700 of them)

My client opened its first site in 1995 and has grown rapidly ever since. They have experienced year on year growth. They operate more than 700 sites across the UK, and see scope for up to an additional 500. You will be working at their corporate head offices that support the business nationally. They employ over a thousand staff over various sectors in manufacturing, sourcing, and logistics They have focused solely on supporting the small and medium sized customers which stand them out over their competitors. In fact everything the business does is geared towards making the customers` life easier.

The main purpose of the role is to care for the cars ! You will be the main point of contact for the vehicle fleet with the appointed provider and appointed dealerships. The vehicles are ordered and delivered according to contract dates. Particular care has to be made to ensure the correct vehicle is allocated to the correct grade of staff. You will liaise with various departments and levels of staff within the business so a clear an articulate manner is required.You could be liaising with the Directors or drivers.You will also need to be persuasive when dealing with insurance and fleet brokers to promote timely decisions.

Ideally you will have an administrative background ,an exceptional coordinator with good organisational skills. PC literacy is important and a good understanding of excel is required. Pivot tables and V-Look ups are used but training can be given.

The salary is £25-28K. There is also a 10% discretionary bonus The hours are Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:30pm .There is free on site car parking ,reduced gym membership, contributory pension,24 days holiday + bank holidays.
