We are supporting our Canary Wharf based client in the recruitment of Senior Assistant Company Secretary

They are primarily looking for someone who has experience in a similar role within an FCA regulated environment

This is a newly created position as the company has grown into new areas that needs extra Co Sec support

The co sec team deals with all the Corporate Governance issues for a range of advisory panels and committees and will offer you a very busy and varied workload

You will be come part of a strong and established team, however there is genuine need for technical expertise from your experience within FCA regulated roles and Trusts - specifically:
Company Law
FCA Regulations - so experience in a heavily regulated FCA environment is preferred
as Corporate Governance issues are starting to get more complex as the company grows

They are looking for candidates who have strong experience in these areas and that nothing fazes them - if you have worked in a rapidly growing company previously that would be an added bonus

You will be working at senior level across the organisation so strong stakeholder skills and the ability to communicate effectively are essential for this role as will as the confidence to challenge at a senior level if required
