Senior Audit Accountant position in Central London paying up to £46K

A part-qualified ACA/ACCA who is knowledgeable and passionate about audit and financial reporting is required for a renowned accountancy firm in Central London which takes care of start-ups and fast-growing companies' compliance obligations in and out of the UK.

You will be responsible for audit and financial reporting services for corporate and entrepreneurial clients and will have a good all-round audit and accounts exposure. You will be preparing statutory financial statements from trial balance or primary records, working papers to support audit work and financial statements including lead schedules, checklists and statutory reviews. You will also be reviewing audit and accounts work undertaken by junior members of the team and visiting client's premises to carry out audit work if necessary. Liaising with clients as and when necessary to carry out work including audit and accounting queries. Working solely or as part of a team on audits and accounts preparation assignments in respect of small, medium & large companies.

The role is 80% in-house although a large part of that time will be spent communicating with clients and you will be reporting on a regular basis to Managers and Directors for auditing and accounting.

The ideal candidate will have the following competencies;

*Part-qualified ACA or ACCA

*Have at least two years' audit experience in public practice (small to medium) working with corporate clients

*Experience of planning and completing audit and accounts preparation assignments

*Confident in using CaseWare (preferred)
