Our client's Procurement Department are looking for a Senior Buyer - Aintree

Temporary - Minimum 3 months

Band 6 - £14.33 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday (09:00 - 17:00) 37.50 hours each week

Essential - Must be working to CIPs' level 5


Duties & Responsibilities:

To support the Trust in the identification and delivery of a defined procurement portfolio, including Trust specific projects or leading on collaborative work streams. Facilitate and manage projects delivering against agreed timescales and outcomes contributing towards Cost Improvement Plans (CIP). This will include excellent stakeholder management skills, full OJEU tendering experience and the ability to negotiate outcomes that demonstrate value for money, promoting an integrated approach to procurement. This role will involve face to face meetings whereby social distancing and PPE will be expected.
