Senior Compliance & Safety Officer
Nottingham
Up to approx. £35,000 however salaries above this will be reviewed depending on suitability for the position
Full time
Some UK travel will apply (every 2-3 months)

As the Senior Compliance & Safety Officer you will work closely with a Director and support all Directors of the business ensuring all areas of compliance on site are abided to.

You will be responsible for implementing and managing compliance for the business ensuring it is successfully managed and adhered to. You will complete company audits ensuring that the business is compliant to government standards, offering training, development and support in these areas when required.

For the position you will need to have a thorough understanding of compliance and previous experience of implementing and training in compliance is highly advantageous.

Overall skills required:
Educated to degree level
A H&S qualification
Some knowledge of employment law
Excellent communication skills
The ability to prioritise a busy workload
UK driving licence
Service sector compliance and safety knowledge - desirable
Experience in Quality Accreditation's such as ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001- desirable
