Job Description

Our client based in Cardiff centre is looking for a Senior Data Analyst, this at the moment is a working for home position offering flexible working hours and an incredible benefits package:

Main responsibilities:

" Manage external requests for data and information, keeping records of all requests, our responses and relevant documentation enabling data sharing.
" Lead on the internal enagement of staff to to utilise their data in addition to existing sources effectively and enable them to produce meaningful reports, visualisations, infographics and dashboards.
" Lead on the development of knowledge and insight through analysis of a variety of data using a range of tools and technology.
" Provide support for the delivery and communication of our data projects, including the social care data discovery portal and workforce data analytics.
" Be part of working groups that support and enable external organisations to make appropriate use of social care data.
" Manage the process of becoming and maintaining compliance with the procedural requirements of an official statistics provider.

Ideally you will need to have the following skills and experience:

Relevant degree or equivalent experience

Knowledge of data analysis and best practice in relation to data governance.

Knowledge of tools used to store extract, analyse and present data, e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, R-Studio, Excel, SQL.

Experience of working with data, data collection, analysis and dissemination, including:

· Advising others on what data sources are available and how to utilise them.

· Developing datasets for collection and analysis.

· Developing online tools for the collection and automated processing of data.

· Developing large scale data collection processes, including the construction of robust data sharing and information governance processes.

· Developing analyses for complex datasets from multiple systems.

· Developing knowledge transfer processes for skills relating to analysis, development and systems that collect and/or process data.

· Delivering information to staff, stakeholders and customers in effective and secure ways

Good leadership and communication skills, able to effectively communicate and influence people across different teams.

Ability to coach within and outside of your team.

Strong analytical ability and highly effective written and oral communication skills.
