Are you an operational and hands on Senior Financial Accountant with a strong manufacturing background? Are you looking to manage a reasonable sized accounts team? Looking to join a reputable company with a clear direction?

As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will report directly to the Managing Director and will work closely with other senior staff within the organisation. You will also be leading and developing the accounting team to ensure the company`s financial health.

You will be responsible, but not limited to, for the following:

" Managing the accounts, financial controls and reporting.
" Develop and implement an internal audit programme and work in partnership with external auditors to ensure the company is financially compliant.
" Compile, challenge, and reconcile Budgeting and Forecasting across all departments to ensure that targets are met, and financial/statutory regulations are complied with whilst providing ongoing reports and feedback to ensure the business has full transparency and control.
" As part of the business you will be expected to be adept at initiating and implementing new processes.
" Provide financial advice and guidance to the company`s managers and staff to enable them to achieve their objectives.
" Preparation of the company`s financial accounts to ensure that these are presented accurately and on time.
" Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company.
" Own, through the team, all aspects of site financial reporting (Annual, Monthly, Weekly or Daily) to internal and external stakeholders.
" Business case preparation for new product launch and capital investment.
" Present rigorous financial information to functional review meetings; Exec BoM cost reduction and other ad-hoc meetings as and when required.
" Coordination of management reports and analysis.
" Support and challenge overhead and labour control through a defined monthly process.
" Deliver strong control over capital including forecast accuracy and capital reviews.
" Challenge and support the commercial teams to deliver accurate forecasts and enhance profitability.
" Challenge and support the costing process.
" Maintain a strong working relationship with Managers in the business.

It is essential that you are ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with experience working within a manufacturing environment. You will ideally have experience within a management position and 3-5 years` experience in accounting but is not essential.

To top off this exciting position. This role offers a salary of between £55,000 to £60,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience plus some exciting benefits such as 29 days holiday including bank holiday, employee benefit scheme, free onsite parking and life cover.
