Senior Graphic Designer

Liverpool
Permanent Role
Negotiable Salary
Monday - Friday 8.30am -5.30pm

Duties will cover:

- Manage the Graphic Design teams workload including reviewing briefs
- Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software
- Apply typographic techniques
- Generate creative ideas and portray concepts for a wide variety of printed and electronic marketing materials to a brief including website graphics, packaging, catalogues, flyers and point of sale
-Maintain brand consistency across all of our brands
- Work closely with the brand teams to ensure deadlines are met
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools
- Work to a file management system, ensuring all design work is logged and filed
- Assisting with photo shoots and maintaining the image library
-Keeping up to date with latest trends, and creating trend documents

Skills, Qualities & Abilities
o Experience with managing other designers and overseeing work flow
o Experienced in setting up artwork to go to print
o Experienced in designing packaging, printed brochures, and flyers
o Capable to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
o Ability to work as a member of a multi-functional team
o Excellent time management and organisational skills

Essential
o Degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent education or qualifications
o At least 3 years experience with managing other designers and overseeing work flow
o Experience in setting artwork up for print
o Understanding of colour profiles, file & image formatting and output for print
o Ability to execute design solutions using Adobe CS
o A strong creative flair, and a strong visual sense
