I have a fantastic opportunity with Health Education England for a Senior Workforce/Information Analyst based in Cambridge. The assignment is for 3 months with view to being extended thereafter.

Description:

" Helping customers to articulate their information requirements and advising on how data can be used to support business processes and decision making
" Providing analytics through the use of appropriate tools (e.g. SQL Server, Tableau, SSIS, and Excel) to extract, transform, query and present data
" Providing authoritative information, guidance and advice on analytical solutions and implementation
" Ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and strategy
" Undertaking data analysis, data modelling and data transformation based upon identified business needs
" Developing and maintaining complex data extraction and reporting solutions
" Being proactive in pursuing new and improved technical solutions

Skills & Experience:

Good experience and knowledge of methodologies and tools, including:
o Data platforms - e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Access
o Development methodologies and practices - e.g. Agile (Scrum, Kanban, XP), Waterfall
o Data extraction, transformation and reporting
o Data modelling
o Data standards and data quality
o User experience
o Testing
o User guidance and training
o Project management - e.g. Prince2
