Are you an experienced Laboratory Technician looking for work? If so, we have an outstanding opportunity to work for a globally recognised employer in Cardiff.

This is a full time, temporary role which will remain temporary until a permanent candidate is find. This temporary position will give you a huge advantage if you were considering the role permanently.

Key Duties

- Set up experiment equipment and research systems for Stem Cell related tests.

- Advise and support staff and students win Stem Cell technical procedures.

- Ensuring correct stock levels and distribution of stock

- Support the Lab Manager with new measures for improvement

- Characterise and bank somatic cells

- Maintaining correct records and updating the database for analysis.

Essential Criteria

- NVQ 3/A Levels or equivalent qualification/work related experience

- Substantial Experience as a cell culture technician

- Experiencing setting up and analysing standard cell culture

- Ability to train students and staff in laboratory procedures

- Supervisory experience of technical staff
