I have a fantastic opportunity with Health Education England for a Senior Management Accountant based in Manchester. The assignment is for 3 months with view to being extended thereafter.

Description:

The purpose of the role is to provide financial support and advice to budget holders across one of HEE`s regions, including budget monitoring, forecasting and variance analysis. The post holder will work as part of a regional financial management team and responsibilities will include:

" Provision of financial management service to budget holders, taking the lead on the staff related elements of the budget.
" Ensure financial performance is accurately reported, in a timely manner and to required deadlines.
" Ensure reporting mechanisms are maintained in order to deliver efficient and accurate information and reporting.
" Ensure that budgets reflect approved financial plans and nay amendments are documented
" Regularly review financial information with budget holders and proactively manager variances.

Skills & Experience:

o CCAB or CIMA qualified with current registration
o Experience of working in Financial Environment
o Demonstrable knowledge of specialist areas
o Evidence of continuing professional development
