A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a person to join our client in Belfast who specialises in International Ocean Freight Services along with general Freight Forwarding activities.

It has become one of the most successful International Ocean Freight providers in Northern Ireland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall delivery and quality of the businesses services whilst ensuring the customer experience is of the highest level.

In return, the company will offer an attractive remuneration package.

They are looking for a driven and ambitious individual that will bring a positive and friendly attitude to daily operations and assist in the growth of the business. You will have a good knowledge of the Northern Ireland market as well as a good understanding of the Freight Forwarding sector. A day-to-day hands on approach is needed.

Package:

* Salary : Negotiable but subject to experience.

Duties Include:
* Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times.
* Providing guidance to and support managers and staff members as required.

Experience Required:

* Planning and forecasting.
* Effective decision making.
* Freight Forwarding knowledge & experience: Deep Sea Ocean Freight (Exports & Imports) and in addition some Customs knowledge would be desirable.
* Good communication and negotiation skills.
* Effective management and delegation skills.
