Job Description

** Senior Night Care Assistant **
** Wellingborough, Northamptonshire **
** Up to £12.32ph **
** £26 906**
** Permanent and full time working 42 hours per week of 7.30pm - 7.30am**
** Week 1; 5 nights (Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun) / Week 2; 2 nights (Weds & Thurs)
** Providing nursing care for people with dementia or a mental illness **

BS Social Care is currently recruiting for a Senior Night Care Assistant within the Wellingborough area of Northamptonshire. This role is a full and permanent role working with a small well established care organisation proving care for adults with Dementia and mental health issues. You will work a 2 week rolling rota of nights which consist of 7.30pm - 7.30am. This role consists of working closely with your Nurses in charge, your Nurse in charge, your team members and your service users to ensure the best possible care is provided for your service users.

About the employer; this employer is a small but well established company who have been within the care field for many years. This home is one of the two, local to one another. The company provides care for adults with care needs.

About the job; a summary of the role includes supporting the Registered Nurses and the Carers, ensuring that care of the highest standard is delivered to all residents, by assisting in the delivery and recording of care, by acting as a Key Worker for a number of named residents, by assisting in ensuring the house is clean and hygienic and by assisting in ensuring personal clothing and linen is laundered to highest standard.

About the ideal candidate; it is essential that you hold a Level 3 in Health and Social Care. It would also be ideal that you hold at least 1 yrs experience working as a Senior. Ideally, you will be a driver as the house is located in rural area and public transport cannot always be relied on. Should you have a dedicated person who can drop you off and pick you up that is fine.

An hourly pay rate of £12.34ph depending on qualifications and experience will be offered. This is a permanent and full time role working 42 hours per week.
