Job Description

*** Temporary Role - Senior Officer ***

I am currently recruiting for a remote working Senior Officer to join a team within the health care sector.

Location: Remote Working (Will have to be accessible to their Wolverhampton & Walsall office in case they need to attend meetings - which could be twice a month)
Pay: £12.74
Hours: 35 Hours a week, Monday - Friday
To start ASAP until End of Nov/Start of Dec.

The Role

The Senior Officer will be responsible for supporting the ongoing implementation and delivery of the Primary Care Strategy GP Forward View Programme (GPFV) Programme of work which is a complex but exciting transformation programme moving at scale and pace.

The Senior Officer also provides support to the Training Hub with operational activities and work closely with the Senior Specialists and other team members as part of the ongoing implementation of this work programme.

Previous Working History in:

  • Significant Previous working history in supporting the delivery of projects to quality, time and budget requirements, preferably within a change programme environment
  • Producing project plans, trackers and other routine project documentation such as risk/issue registers
  • Routine administrative and financial administrative processes including invoice processing and raising of purchase orders
  • Supporting projects that involve working with multiple stakeholders across different organisations
  • Organising successful promotional events/workshops
  • Taking and writing up accurate Action Notes/Minutes at complex and fast paced meetings
  • Working across organisational and professional boundaries

Essential Criteria

  • Educated to Diploma level or equivalent experience in Business Administration/Finance
  • Plus PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent specialist experience in project management, finance, business administration
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of project finances and risk, issue and dependency management
  • Ability to prepare returns/submissions to regulators and other external organisations
  • Demonstrable skill in negotiating and planning complex events with external organisations
  • Strong analytical skills to take raw data and produce meaningful reports/summaries/dashboards for presentation at project team meetings e.g. Project Metric data
  • Demonstrable skill in recording and analysing complex and sensitive data
  • Ability to prepare and present good quality and accurate documentation Preparation of surveys/audit material with support from other team members and collation of responses in preparation for detailed analysis
  • Demonstrable knowledge of GDPR regulations
  • Good and demonstrable Microsoft Office Skills - particularly in Excel, Word and Outlook with standard keyboard skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including telephone answering, written correspondence (including email) and face to face
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Strong delivery focus, and a concern for results and achieving goals
  • Methodical, organised, analytical with problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to concentrate for a prolonged period
  • There is a frequent requirement for sitting in a restricted position for a substantial period of time
  • Requirement to use VDU equipment more or less continuously on most days
