Brook Street is delighted to be working on behalf of our Belfast client who are keen to recruit a Senior Paraplanner to assist and train junior members of staff

They are looking for someone with a considerable amount of paraplanning experience and preferably a bit of quality assurance or compliance background also.

The candidate hired would provide training and support for the below activities.

· Legacy Asset Transfer analysis
· Product analysis
· Valuations
· Projections
· Charts and fund fact sheets
· Quotes & illustrations
· Application forms
· Dealing with providers
· File Preparation
· Meeting Preparation
· Valuations
· Adviser sales figures
· Adviser case handovers
· Fund switching
· Wrap Management
· Preparing withdrawals & surrenders
· Suitability reports
· Fact finds
· Business submission
· Fees and commissions
. Construction of Suitability reports
. KYC update
· Attending training sessions

For any candidate who is applying outside of Openwork, there will be a considerable amount of systems training required before you can start the role, probably at least 6 months, so the salary would be adjusted depending on experience of the candidate.

CRITERIA

* Must have a minimum of Level 4 qualification
* 10+ years` experience of paraplanning
* Experience of preparing advice across investment, inheritance tax, protection, and retirement planning
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment

For the ideal candidate the salary would be circa £35- £45k plus benefits (DIS, pension, health scheme) for 35 hours per week
