Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Practitioner to join a well-established Mental Health Service for Adults, in the Lytham St Anne`s Area.

You will be working for an excellent provider in mental health rehabilitation and recovery specialising in supporting people with high and complex needs, they work with people with mental health, substance misuse and other complex needs to achieve their ambitions and potential.

As the Senior Practitioner you will be working within a Residential Home for Young Adults with Mental Health needs. Your Duties will be to manage the service`s resources and monitor, develop and share good practice across your staff team to ensure everyone is better equipped to work with a greater range of challenging support needs. You will provide high quality support to clients, build positive relationships with multi-disciplinary organisations and make sure that data entry is accurate and timely. You will support with the management of the service`s risk load and providing strong clinical leadership when formulating support plans.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent and have a good understanding and knowledge of Mental Health. You will be Solution focused and outcome driven, you`re great at leading, supervising and motivating others using tact and diplomacy and a firm but inclusive, open and encouraging management style. You also have a flair for managing conflicting demands and priorities, a flexible attitude to working hours and a willingness to be part of an `on call` rota.

This is a 12-month maternity cover post, working Monday - Friday 8am-4pm with some weekend work. The salary is starting at £19,038 in addition to gaining great experience and working for a fantastic company which could lead to greater opportunities.
