Job Description


We are looking for a senior production assistant for a manufacturing company based in Bradford.

The role will involve:
" Making sure all daily production figures, schedules and absence reports are filled in and sent out on time daily. Morning, and weekly prints are also given out correctly and on time.
" Must have previous supervisory or similar experience and be capable of dealing with issues regarding staff within the working environment. Also, be able to cover the Head of department role due to any holidays or sickness.
" Daily job board make sure that it is kept up to date daily and all jobs are completed in correct order.
" Chasing orders through the factory to ensure delivery dates are met and orders are sent out on time.
" Updating and amending orders on the in-house computer system
" As well as any other problems that may regularly occur on a day-to-day basis.


Although main duties are office based the successful candidate will be required to work within the factory from time to time during stock takes, busy periods so heavy lifting will be required.

Also, must be available to work away from home at various times of the year to organise and set up furniture shows around the country

Candidate must have the following qualities
" Be able to work as part of a team but also under their own initiative
" Be able to work overtime at short notice
" Attention to detail is imperative
" Excellent organisational skills
" Be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel packages
" Must be highly motivated
" Can work under pressure
" Excellent computer skills, especially in word and excel
" Commitment to the job/company
" Excellent communication skills with people on all levels within the company
" Must have excellent multi-tasking skills
" Timekeeping must be punctual

Working hours are 7.30am to 16.30pm Monday - Thursday and 7.30am to 13.30pm Friday

Salary on offer is up to £23,000 based upon skills and supervisory experience
