Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join out team on a temporary basis until the end of March, with the likelihood of being extended

Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Hours: 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
Location: Nottingham / work from home
Salary: £19.87 per hour

Although the programme will be the main focal point you will also be required to support the Strategic Quality and Transformation Manager to develop project management strategies for the wider Quality, Transformation and Oversight team. This includes contributing towards Project Management best practice and improvements to the PMO.

Key deliverables:
" Strategic Programme Plan - Part of this persons first task will be to understand the current programme position, develop a strategic programme plan and to identify clear milestones to make sure the programme is on track.
" To build relationships across the Integrated Care System (ICS) including Maternity Units, Hospital Health Trusts, Community Health Providers, Local Authorities, Public Health, Maternity Voices Partnership and voluntary and community organisations.
" To work with the Strategic Quality & Transformation Manager to review and assess the Project Management capability and the PMO and make suitable recommendations for improvement including supporting the development of a Transformation Way of Working and toolkit.
" Lead and support the Project Management team including one Project Manager, a Project Support and an Apprentice including setting clear personal development plans

Essential skills & experience:
" Programme Management experience in the public sector (does not necessarily require health experience) working in a large complex environment with multiple stakeholders and partners.
" Effective planning skills

Desirable skills & experience:
" Experience working in an Integrated Care System (ICS)
" Involved in setting up a PMO
