We are supporting a Lloyd's Syndicate with their recruitment of a Senior Reinsurance Technician to join their growing Casualty Outwards Reinsurance team

The Outwards Reinsurance team is responsible for contract set up, recoveries, cash allocation, credit control, reporting, broker communications and reconciliations.
You will be working closely with Outwards Reinsurance purchasing, Claims, Finance and Actuarial to ensure a seamless and co-ordinated approach throughout all your activities.
This role is responsible for accurately processing and paying reinsurance premiums and making recoveries, providing a focus on quality through the implementation and ongoing management of technical best practices.


They need someone with a very sound knowledge of reinsurance processes, including reinsurance recovery procedures from first advice to final settlement, credit control and the management of aged debt.

You MUST have substantial London Market experience of syndicate operations and credit control function.

They also specifically need advanced knowledge and experience of Lloyd's reinsurance reporting mechanisms, Lloyd's minimum standards and Lloyd's processes

They are using XLPRO and experience in using this would be preferred but is not essential

They are looking for a self-motivated and deadline orientated person who can develop strong working relationships and add value to the team

Salary on offer is upto £80000 based on experience
