The right Senior will be responsible for delivering childcare that is focused on obtaining the best outcomes for each young person. They will be expected to demonstrate practical leadership in childcare as well as organize and support staff. Assist the Manager and Deputy in managing the Home and to provide a positive living experience for the resident young people. Liaise with, inform, and carry out delegated tasks, as required by the Directors, the Managers and the Deputy, and to liaise with all other group personnel
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of working with children in a residential setting within the last 5 years.
- A minimum of NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care (children & young people).
- A Clear understanding of OFSTED regulations, safeguarding and working with other health care professionals.
- Up to date DBS
