Job Description

A fantastic opportunity to earn £28,000 as a Senior Residential Support Worker within an energetic team has arisen. You will be working for a well established, national children`s home provider who are committed to making a difference. This rewarding role is based in the rural town of Henfield, New Haven and Ditchling

As the Senior Residential Support Worker on shift. you will provide support to a group of vulnerable young people who require high levels of supervision. Other duties will include:
--Ensuring the Young People are safe and engaged throughout the day
--Ensuring that education is promoted and attendance maintained.
--Developing the young peoples skills towards independent living.
--Emotional support and guidance

As the successful candidate you will:
--Be a driver with your own transport
--Have previous quality experience with Young People
--Preferably have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or Children and Young People.

We are looking for a person who can demonstrate a real passion for Children and be committed to the demands of the residential sector. In return for your hard work and commitment you can expect to earn a competitive salary of £28,000 per year. You will receive excellent support and professional supervision, as well as regular training opportunities and the chance to undertake further qualifications.

Upon gaining employment with this national children's home they will offer you a four day training course in loughborough which includes Safe guarding, Restraint and about them as a Children's home provider.
