Job Description

I have an exceptional Senior residential support worker job opportunity available with a leading independent social care provider who has an excellent reputation for providing high quality tailored care and support for young people living within residential settings. This provider also promotes career progression and growth and will fund your QCF Level 5 in Children`s Residential. However, you must hold a full UK driving license (Manual Car).

An established residential care home based in the Oldbury area have an exciting opportunity that offers you the chance to join a provider who prides themselves on making a difference to the lives of the young people they support.

You will join this organisation in a residential support worker capacity and take a key role in leadership for this service. You will ensure the care and welfare of each child and provide guidance and support. You will be ensuring placement plans are followed, policies, procedures and risk assessments You will also play a key role in promoting education, social inclusion and independent living skills.

You will be required to work a varied shift pattern to include sleep in cover. To meet the needs of the service you must have flexibility to also work some weekends and evenings on a rota basis. An annual salary of £10 per hour with no Quals and - £11 per hour with quals . With your SLEEP-IN allowance of £35 per sleep. You will also receive continued learning and development and career progression.
