Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Workers to join a Children's Residential home for children expressing Emotional Behaviour Disorders, challenging behaviours and HSB, within Lytham St Anne's, Lancashire.

You will be working for a well-established organisation which provide specialist care environments and support to young people who have been subjected to self-harm and show aggression.

As the Senior Residential Support Worker you will support the Senior Managers home, ensuring all children and young people receive high quality of care in line with Ofsted. Your other duties would include providing support to the Young People. You will also act as a Key Worker for the young people, and this will consist of supporting them out in the community, making accurate daily notes and report writing, observing the trends of behaviour and promoting the independence of the young people along with day-to-day tasks throughout the home.

The successful candidate will be passionate in providing the best person-centred care to the young people, be able to well in a team, demonstrate leadership, ability to think outside the box and can use own initiative.

YOU MUST HAVE; a Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent, relevant experience of supporting Young People within a Residential setting and hold a full UK Driving Licence.

In return for your commitment, you will receive a salary of up to £22,126 plus minimum of 4 sleeps per month at £55 each. This is a full-time position with shifts of 1 in and 2 off. In addition, you will receive great specialist training, professional development, and benefits when you join.
