Job Description
Our client in Chippenham is looking for a Senior Secretary to provide secretarial support to the middle management team. This role is within a government organisation and to be considered for this role you need to complete our compliance procedure as well as a DBS security check.
If you have strong secretarial skills in audio typing or shorthand and experienced in diary management, then this is the role for you.
Main Duties include;
- Organising meetings and diary management
- Administering typing of correspondence, memos and reports
- Maintaining electronic filing systems
- Managing inbox
- Liaising with internal and external contacts
- Meeting and greeting visitors
- Supporting at meetings with minute taking
- General enquiry calls
This position is temporary for initially 18 months, the working hours are Monday-Friday 37 hours a week and offering an hourly rate of £11.66. However, the role will also involve some travel to their other offices to support with meetings and minute taking.
