Job Description

I am looking for an experienced and passionate candidate to join a leading recognised charity in the role of Senior Service Coordinator. Based in Luton, Bedfordshire, you will provide support and guidance to women and children who have suffered from or are exposed to Gender Based Violence.

You will join an established charity who has great presence within the Luton area and who is committed to ensuring that all women and children should have the right to feel safe and secure.

You will be responsible for organising and allocating support and services for women and children. This role is varied and will involve working within a multidisciplinary team across a range of settings including, head office, outreach services and refuge settings.

Your duties will be varied and will include:
" You will achieve and exceed KPI`s and targets, delivering an outstanding level of care which meets the needs of individual women and children. You will ensure that all cases are allocated and services are coordinated efficiently and expeditiously for women and children.


" Undertaking the necessary work for the preparation of client case audits


" Preparing the agenda for MDT weekly Case Management Meetings


" You will be the organisation's safe guarding officer, responding to issues of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children ensuring services meet the provisions of the Care Act 2015


" Liaise effectively with the housekeeping and maintenance Coordinator to ensure living environments are safe and secure.


" Provide daily support and monthly one to one supervision with all members of the MDT, whilst managing team performance and behaviours and escalating staffing issues through appropriate policies.


" You will be required to share advisory "on call" responsibilities on a rota basis.


This exciting role would suit a skilled and experienced individual who can demonstrate a proven background within a domestic violence or children and families field.

Perhaps you are skilled support worker who can evidence experience within this sector and who is looking for the next step on the career ladder or an established coordinator looking to extend their knowledge and skills in this field. It is essential that you already have some team management experience and have effective problem solving skills.

In addition, a good working knowledge of issues facing children, women and young people affected by domestic violence specifically in relation to sexual exploitation, mental health and substance misuse would benefit the senior service coordinator role greatly.

Due to the nature of this role, you will need to hold a full UK driving licence, have access to your own vehicle and be committed to visiting services outside the head office setting.


In return for your extensive skills and experience, you will be rewarded with a generous annual salary starting at £22834.50, extensive continued training and development and a generous annual leave allowance.
