Job Description

NHS Digital - Support Administrator
Location: Leeds (home working at present)
Hours: Monday - Friday (37.5 hours)
Pay: £12.74ph

This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements.

The Senior Service Support Analyst will:

  • Hosting, attending and contributing to Team Stand-Ups to discuss tasks, progress, issues etc
  • Attending and contributing to resolver group Stand-Ups to discuss progress on incident/problem fixes and provide end user representation for prioritisation conversations
  • Responsible for the day to day tasks and activities required to support the ongoing running of the services. This includes taking responsibility, as an individual and as part of the wider team, for incident management, problem management, release management, capacity management, availability management, and BAU stakeholder engagement
  • Responsible for contributing to the creation, and subsequent measurement, of performance metrics to address any improvements required for the service and the team
  • Undertake Stakeholder engagement and management, improving working relationships with ICT resolver groups and the user estate
  • Responsible for supporting the Team Lead with remedial work for service related risks, issues, escalations and stakeholder engagement
  • Responsible for improving relationships with End Users to improve Service Management's understanding of the service(s)
  • Responsible for participating in Service Improvement activity through short, sprint based focused activity
  • Update risk and issue registers offering mitigation's where possible.
  • Suggest and update CSI register for the services in the team.

  • Proficient use of MS office programmes especially MS Excel
  • Must have experience in communications
  • Must be able to effectively work from home
  • Minute taking experience preferable
