Senior VehicleTechnician

An established car dealership based in the Slyfield Industrial Estate in Guildford is looking for a Senior Vehicle Technician to join their existing team.
The role is for a permanent position - Monday - Friday 8am - 5:30pm and every other Saturday.

The role includes:
Being able to Identify problems, often by using diagnostic equipment
Plan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals, and experience
Test parts and systems to ensure that they work properly
Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined
Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires
Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors
Perform repairs to manufacturer and customer specifications
Explain automotive problems and repairs to clients
Basic diagnostics

The candidate must:
Be a M.O.T. Tester
Be a qualified technician
Have more than 1 year car dealership experience
