To be considered for this position, it is essential that you have significant experience of Logistics, Supply Chain or freight forwarding. International logistics experience ( all modes Air , Road , Sea and Courier) and a proven track record in gross margin delivery / business development / sales
Key Activities within the role will include:
New business development covering multi model transportation with a key focus on Air, Road, Sea and Logistics. Meet new business targets and portfolio growth targets.
Review of customer gross margin reports to identify areas of improvement. Ensure that all customer service requirements are being adhered to, and report any service failures or service observations
Arrange a set target of client visits per week
Work closely with the commercial teams, product and global network to develop and promote new business for the UK company.
Skills and experience you will need:
The ability to quote or build a pricing model for a customer. Capable of closing a deal. Contract / Pricing Negotiation. A good standard of education, self motivational skills and a proven track record in Logistics Sales.
