Job Description

I am actively recruiting for passionate and professional senior support workers to join a good rated residential service for adults with a learning disability diagnosis in Leicester.

Employed on a full time basis, you will work with an established team to deliver person centred care and support. You will be responsible for shift leading, updating and amending care plans, delivering personal care and administering medication.

Behaviour management, liaising with external agencies and mentoring new team members are all key elements of this senior support worker role.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent team player, with great communication skills and the passion to really make difference to the lives of the people who reside here.

To be considered for these exciting senior support worker roles, you must:

* Be able to demonstrate proven experience within a care setting, supporting adults with learning disabilities and behaviours which may prove challenging

* Hold a minimum of the level 3 in health and social care and up to date medication training

* Have a stable job history

* Have proven experience leading a shift and mentoring a staff team

In return, you will receive a competitive hourly rate up to £10 per hour (D.O.E), access to on going training and development opportunities and a generous annual leave allowance.
