Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Support Worker to support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs within Chorley, Preston and would like to hear from you!

You will be working for an excellent provider in supported living and residential service, specialising in supporting people with high and complex needs, they work with people with to achieve their Life ambitions and potential.

The homes are situated in a variety of good locations and close enough to the motorway network to be convenient.
All of the homes are single storey with attractive décor and carefully adapted. Each house has a choice between a large bathroom with jacuzzi bath or spacious wet room.
Landscaped gardens include sensory walkways, patio areas and raised beds for easy reach.
They are located in quiet, desirable areas and also well-placed for local amenities.

As the Senior Support worker, you will be Fully supportive working with the team to directly support with care, manage the support workers to ensure they are supported with their duties and working as part of the senior management team to ensure the running in the day to day of the service is met.
You will be able to demonstrate good organisations skills, leadership, communication skills and a willingness to work closely with colleagues and the management team ensuring the effective and smooth running of the Service.

The successful candidate will hold relevant experience in the Social Care fields ideally from a Supported living service or Residential care. You will be able to demonstrate leadership skills and would ideally have NVQ Level 2 or 3 or willing to work towards a NVQ Level 3. You will have experience dealing with complex situations and can use your own initiative.

In Return you will Receive full-time position with a salary of £11.30ph from £20566 - £23504 Per annum on a 35 - 40 hours a week with alternative weekends off, in addition to excellent benefits, progression and developments, Holiday entitlement, On Call Allowance, £300 Annual Bonus prior to Christmas and more!
