We are recruiting for senior support workers, working for a well established organisation supporting individuals with learning disabilities.

BS Social Care is one of the UK's leading recruitment specialist, specialising in sourcing and placing skilled workers into roles within the social care sector.

The role of the senior support worker is to working within a supported living setting, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy. Some individuals need personal care and there may be a communication barrier as some individuals are non verbal. We are looking for drivers who can support with taking the service users out into the community and assist with activities.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is pro active, reliable and consistent. The role may include days and nights, and you need to do nightly checks to ensure the health and safety of the individuals.

For this role you need to have a minimum of 1 years work experience or 6 months with a relevant social care qualification. We are looking for individuals who have moving and handling training. If you have a DBS on the update service we would love to hear from you!
