My client is seeking a senior support worker to work in their supported living service in the Croydon area. They provide a fantastic introduction programme and continuous learning and development opportunities to help the successful candidate become autism experts which will lead to additional qualifications.
The service users want to be supported to do the things they want to do and to live the lives they choose. This role provides highly skilled support to help achieve this. This role will support the mentoring, development and managing of developing team members and assists with the smooth running and management of the service.
The ideal candidate will support 4 male service users who are daring and adventurous with a range of needs. Challenging behaviour experience is also essential for this position as each day may present a new challenge.
The ideal person will have the following experience, skills and attributes:
-Level 4 in health and social care (or willing to work towards it)
-Autism experience/Challenging behaviour experience
-Previous experience of supervising / managing staff
-Driving license (desirable)
