BS Social Care are working in partnership with a leading country wide children`s residential care provider looking for a children`s worker shift lead position.

The children`s care provider is has a large presence in the north east with both residential and education centres. All Ofsted report overall scores for the services they provide are Good or Excellent and there is an ethos of striving for excellence that is the core of the company.

This position is for a home in county Durham, but there are other residential around the region which will consider suitable candidates. You will provide a safe and secure environment in which the children will be able to thrive and achieve. Working alongside other agencies and the young people themselves, you will draw up care and support plans to achieve these goals.

You will have had experience in the children`s residential sector and at least a level 3 in a relevant subject.

Sleep-ins will be part of the successful candidates rota and these are paid in addition to the salary.
