Our client is a leading Infrastructure firm based in Cardiff with over 100+ staff and specialise in Civil Engineering and transportation.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
" Produce new transport plans, business cases.
" To have a working knowledge of WelTag and/or WebTAG.
" To produce high quality project reports including technical documents.
" To have a good working knowledge of current transport policy at sub-regional, regional and national level in wales
" To develop relationships with Local Authorities and Welsh Government in order to secure new commissions.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required
" Knowledge of economic analysis software e.g TUBA
" Working towards Chartered Transport Planner / TPP status
" Ability to undertake Value of Money BCR assessments.
" Knowledge of cycle and pedestrian network delivery, public transport networks, highways and junctions.
" 2 years` experience as a Senior Transport Planner
" Experience in GIS is desirable
" Experience in working with agencies
" Must have a good knowledge of transport policies in Wales
