Brook Street are recruiting on behalf of the Derbyshire police for a Service desk analyst on an initial 12-month temporary contract.
This role will be based at the police headquarters in Ripley working in my clients fast paced and diverse information services team. The role will be working on helpdesk dealing with first line queries raised by internal stakeholders, this can come via calls, emails or walk ins.
Duties for this role will include;
" Logging calls from users and where possible offering solutions to issues or escalating where needed.
" Maintain accurate log entries
" Carry out ad-hoc system tasks
" Respond to general queries in a timely and effective manner
The successful candidate will ideally come from an IT background and have previous experience working on a service desk. You must also have excellent customer service skills both written and, on the telephone, and able to deal with individuals from different levels.
The hourly rate of pay is £10.21p/h, working hours are between 08.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday.
Please note that successful candidates must pass police vetting which can take up to 6 weeks to clear.
