I am looking for a Service Desk Assistant to work in Basildon at the NHS . The position is working Monday - Friday with working hours being on a rota between 7.30am - 5.30pm.
You will be logging customer IT Incidents and requests assessing the priority of the issue whilst working within a strict turnaround time. Any issues which you are unable to resolve will then be escalated to the appropriate technical support team so a diagnosis can be made.
You will need to have an understanding of how a service desk works along with great I.T skills and an understanding of technical terminology is advantageous. Previous experience within the NHS is not required but is beneficial. The successful candidate will have impeccable communication skills, be organised, work to targets and able to manage their own time.
The position is expected to run until November, although this may be extended. The hourly pay is £9.28p/h rising to £10.79p/h after 12 weeks, this is paid weekly.
The successful candidates will need to come into Chelmsford to complete the NHS paperwork prior to starting.
