I am looking for two Service Desk Coordinators to work in Basildon at the NHS . The positions are Monday - Friday with working hours being on a rota between 7.30am - 5.30pm.
You will be working in a team supporting over 350 GP practices taking inbound calls with various I.T issues. The calls you receive will be varied but all with the same objective - to solve the issues which are phoned through. Most of calls you receive will require IT support such as resetting passwords, software issues and printer problems. After each call you handle the client will receive a survey to complete so you will need to work professionally at all times with super customer service skills.
You must have previous exposure to working on a service desk and have an understanding of how they operate. You will also need to have a good knowledge of I.T and able to troubleshoot problems. Previous experience within the NHS is not required but is beneficial. The successful candidate will have impeccable communication skills, be organised, work to targets and able to manage their own time.
The position is expected to run for at least 3 months, although this may be extended. The hourly pay is £11.59p/h rising to £12.25p/h after 12 weeks, this is paid weekly.
The successful candidates will need to come into Chelmsford to complete the NHS paperwork prior to starting.
