Job Description

We are looking to appoint a Registered Service Manager at our service in Sussex on a 6 months FTC

Registered Service Manager - 6 Months FTC
Location: Lindfield,
Salary: £43,500 to £46,549
Hours: 35, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Interview Dates: ASAP

This a residential and day centre providing services for people with autism, providing support and accommodation for 25 adults, aged over 18, who have been diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum, or have autistic tendencies, also supporting individuals with behaviors that might challenge alternative services and those with epilepsy.

We are a charity that works alongside people with an acquired brain injury, autism, and learning or physical disabilities to help them live as independently as possible. Our high-quality services across the UK support people to move forward with their lives. These include: assessment and rehabilitation centres, hospitals, care homes, supported living accommodation, care in people`s homes and a school.

Essentials:
Experienced registered manager to oversee 14 adults with a primary diagnosis of Autism with learning difficulties and behaviour that challenges. The service has a stable and motivated staff team. Experience in change management would be beneficial.

Your responsibilities will include:
Taking overall responsibility for the effective management of all aspects of the service, thereby ensuring the provision of the highest quality standards of diagnosis specific care and treatment, driven by the needs of the individual.
You will lead, manage and direct a multidisciplinary team in the attainment of aims and objectives.
To meet full compliance in line with the requirement of the regulatory body and relevant legislation.
To market the service to all potential commissioners and referrers with the key aim of creating new business opportunities.
To manage organic and planned change within the service, to meet the demands of new business.

What are we looking for
Someone who has experience and understanding of what constitutes a high quality specific residential service
A QCF (NVQ) level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care/ equivalent or willingness to undertake the training.
Experience of managing budgets and financial systems.
Experience of using disciplinary /grievance procedures and experience of managing poor performance issues in line with policy and procedure.
Someone with the ability to prioritise the workload to meet specified deadlines
