A Service Manager is needed for a setting where service users needs vary from learning and physical disabilities to complex needs and physically challenging behaviour covering Bedfordshire area, paying £24,000. This role is to work for a leading care organisation that is very well established and who is growing more and more every day.

They work with individuals, their families and other professionals to develop support plans that are person-centred, unique to each person, adaptable and portable. This enables them to regularly review and change an individual`s support package and ultimately be in control of their own life. They have developed a range of bespoke support pathways that offer choice and flexibility. This enables people to make changes to suit different stages of their life. The organisation has an excellent track record of providing high quality, robust and sustainable support, increasing the independence of individuals, along with improving their quality of life.

About the job;
You will oversee the management of staff, liaison with service users and their families, advocates and professional groups. You will undertake assessments and reviews of support provided plus staff interviews, supervisions and appraisals.
You will show high standards of professional practice, including the support and advice to the service managers and team leaders. You will develop the growth and development of the region. You will ensure that a high quality of management of services is being achieved and lead on any quality innovations: driving forward a person centred culture and the values of the business. You must be a natural leader and communicator you will have the drive, commitment and enthusiasm to support, advice and motivation to staff teams to ensure that the people who use are services are supported to be as independent as possible and achieve their goal

You will work 40 hours a week 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday - on call 1 week every 11 weeks on the phone

About the ideal candidate; you will have the following to apply...
- Experience as a Manager
- Sound knowledge and experience in the Social and Health care Sector
- Driver
- People management skills
- Experience managing rotas
- A level 4 or 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care
- You must have experience of working within supported living and with people who have learning disabilities, complex needs, autism, mental health issues and behaviour that may be challenging.

A salary of £24,000 will be offered for this role on a fulltime and permanent basis.
