We have an exciting new permanent opportunity for a Service Manager (Domestic Abuse) to join a fast-growing organisation.

We are delighted to be working in partnership with an award-winning organisation who have been delivering domestic abuse services across the North West for over 45 years. They deliver refuge provision for women and children, male safe house accommodation specialist refuges for those with complex needs.
As a Service/IDVA Manager you will co-ordinate and deliver a range of community based domestic abuse support services including High Risk IDVA service. This will include being able to manage multiple operational and development priorities safely to high safeguarding standards working in a fast-paced environment and part of a front-line community team, supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
You will be able to demonstrate that you are adaptable to the variations of work task/ environments, have resilience and make good judgement to be able to make the right decisions when taking into consideration everyone's individual needs and create a genuine team spirit.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate strong management and leadership skills confidently and ideally have experience from a social care background or homeless sector with a good attitude to flexible working. Your values and work ethic is key and you will be able to demonstrate how these values are in line with the organisations'. The key areas we're looking for are for those who have the passion and drive to want to support the survivors and victims of domestic violence, those who can complete and finish tasks and strong team players who are able to collaborate and support others.
Key duties will also include directly managing members of the service team, delivering 1-1 support sessions, organise and lead team meetings, work with and collaborate with other safeguarding networks ensuring that support is in place for the families including children and young people.
This is a Full-time position Mon - Fri 37 hours a week but you must be flexible if needs be and based in the Bury area.
Salary is £30k Per annum plus 25 holidays + 8 bank holidays with a company pension scheme including company benefits and rewards program in place.
