Calling all experienced managers!

I am working with an excellent client who are looking for an experienced individual to join their team as a Service Manager of their day centre for older adults based in the Nelson area.

My client is seeking an individual who can lead by example, can support their team whilst overseeing and developing processes to maintain safety, quality and value for money. Ideally, as the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to identifying and managing risk and maintaining a welcoming and comfortable environment for both staff and service users. You will also be expected to manage expenditure and work within agreed budget parameters.

You will be required to manage and motivate your team and recruit volunteers to help to deliver a financially sustainable service which meets the needs of service users.

The ideal candidate must have a drivers license and come with experience of working within a CQC registered setting, domiciliary care and/or day care centre setting. You must also be willing to strive to perform above and beyond and be forward thinking with the qualification Level 4 in Health and Social Care.

This role is best suited to an enthusiastic manager with excellent communication skills who enjoys working in a values-based organisation to improve the lives and make a difference to older people in East Lancashire.

This is a full time position with a salary of £25,220 with progression, benefits and training available.
