Job Description

BS Social Care are recruiting for a Service Manager to be based in the Shefford area of Bedfordshire but covering Biggleswade, Arlesey, Baldock, Stotfold, Luton and your base of Shefford for a large care organisation supporting adults within a supported living setting with learning disabilities, mental health, complex needs, Autism and behaviour that may challenge.

About the employer; this is a private care organisation who is forever growing with specialist teams across the UK. They provide support services to more than 5000 adults from a few hours a day to 24/7 support. Their teams are dedicated to providing high levels of quality support through supported living in their own home, within a residential care homes or through a short break and respite service location.

About the job; this is a job for someone who holds good managerial experience within the supported living and care field. The role allows you to play a huge part in a number of service users life's when it comes to their care and all aspects included. You will be responsible in ensuring that all service users are receiving the best possible care no matter what their needs and also ensure that all staff members are well looked after and gaining the development and care they also need when in the role.

About the ideal candidate; ideally you will have a NVQ 4 or 5 in Health and Social Care and will have experience of a similar role or wanting a progressive career move. It is essential that you are a driver for the nature of the role.

In return, you will receive a full time and permanent contract of working Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm with on call requirements of 1 in every 7 weeks. This role is paying £24,500 including the following benefits;
