Job Title -Site Technical Manager

Salary - Up to £65,000 Per Annum, Private Medical Insurance & generous car allowance

Permanent Contract

Working hours - Mon to Friday - 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm

Your Job responsibilities:

• To develop a working relationship with all external technical contacts with regard to suppliers, customers and all relevant enforcement agencies and certification bodies.
• To agree and deliver a technical business plan for the site.
• To lead the Technical Team so that the site systems and procedures comply with all relevant legislation and customer requirements.
• To ensure the safety, legality and quality of all products manufactured on site and in doing so ensuring that all objectives and procedures detailed within the Quality Manual are met and are compliant to the Manufacturing Standard, BRC Global Standard for Food Safety and Retailer Codes of Practices, and where this is not achieved that corrective action, root cause analysis and preventative actions are agreed with the appropriate area managers / supervisors and actioned.
• Drive the Food Safety Culture and KPI performance of the site alongside other members of the senior leadership team

• Key member of the senior leadership team to develop the site to deliver the strategic objectives and key customer developments

Your Experience:

• Experience working as a Factory Technical Manager
• Food industry experience & within FMCG/Manufacturing industry knowledge
• Good Communicator
• Experience managing a team
• Able to understand Health & Safety Regulations
