Our Client, the oldest independent salmon farming company in Scotland, has an exciting opportunity available for a Sites Co-Ordinator to join their team. Working alongside the existing senior management team, the candidate will be reporting directly to the Directors.
As the Site Coordinator you will be responsible for full co-ordination, utilisation and efficient use of all non-fish assets to support seawater farming activities. This will include floating infrastructures, boats, vehicles and properties.
Responsibilities and Duties:
" Manage an existing team (6 - 8 staff) to ensure that all assets are fully maintained, functioning to support the seawater farming operations, demonstrating full cost-control, while delivering strong productivity
" Undertake variety of engineering projects to maintain and expand existing production activities
" Planning staff resources, equipment and workload to ensure timely delivery of a demanding workload
" Proven management experience which involves managing a diverse range of skills, while successfully developing skill shortages
" Engineering expertise and significant experience is preferable
" Aptitude for working with new technology
" Problem-solving and optimistic attitude
" Highly- organised, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
" Passion for working within the salmon industry
